Port Charlotte Valinch JUC:01 is a powerfully elegant single malt, born from heavily peated barley – around 40ppm – and distilled in Bruichladdich’s unique tall stills. This 10-year-old expression, distilled in 2009 and matured in a single Jurancon cask (#1196), pays homage to the historic Port Charlotte distillery which closed its doors in 1929. Bottled at a robust cask strength of 59.7% ABV, it offers a distinctive and individual character, representing the very first spirit selected by Murray McDavid in 2001.
