Port Charlotte, a heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich distillery, carries the legacy of the historic Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte – which ceased production in 1929. Distilled on November 28th, 2005, this 13-year-old expression boasts a powerful yet elegant spirit, achieved through distillation in tall stills and a peating level of 40ppm. Matured in a first-fill Moulis cask (#15/307-19), it delivers a robust character at 57.9% ABV. Expect a complex and smoky profile, reflective of its Islay origins and unique maturation.
