Crafted by Master Distiller James MacTaggart, this expression uniquely blends liquid matured in eight Oloroso Sherry butts, eight French Oak barriques, and five Bourbon barrels – a combination he considers his personal favourite. The result is a complex, non-peated whisky offering a rich tapestry of flavours, hinting at dried fruits and spice alongside subtle oak influences. Bottled at 53.4% ABV, this limited release captures the spirit of Arran’s rugged landscape and its renewed dedication to quality whisky making.
