Born on the Isle of Arran, a landscape steeped in distilling history, this heavily peated expression originates from the Lagg distillery – a newer venture dedicated to the island’s smoky whisky traditions. Matured initially in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, it gains unique complexity through a finishing period in rich rum casks. The result is a robust spirit at 57.2% ABV, delivering a powerful peat smoke interwoven with sweet tropical fruit notes. This small-batch release, limited to just 3000 bottles, offers a distinctive taste of Arran’s evolving character and coastal influence.
