Unusually for Islay, Bruichladdich traditionally produces unpeated whisky, offering a lighter, fruit-forward character distinct from the island’s smoky reputation. Master Distiller Jim McEwan selected this expression, resulting in a whisky bottled at 46% ABV, revealing a complex profile with notes of orchard fruits and a subtle sweetness.
