Born from the 2000 revival of the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, Renaissance marks a pivotal moment in the distillery’s rebirth after a period of dormancy. Distilled in 2001, this 9-year-old whisky – batch 11.09.01 – represents some of the very first spirit to flow from Bruichladdich’s newly reactivated stills. Matured exclusively in bourbon casks, Renaissance offers a uniquely unpeated expression from Islay, delivering a smooth and approachable character with notes of vanilla and sweet fruit. A testament to experimentation and a return to traditional methods, it embodies the distillery’s commitment to quality and innovation.
