About this whisky
- Region:
Distilled in December 1975, this 48-year-old Carsebridge is a rare expression from a historic grain distillery originally founded in 1799. Once Scotland’s largest grain distillery, Carsebridge ceased production in 1983 and was later demolished, leaving only Carsebridge House as a reminder of its legacy. Matured for nearly five decades in a refill bourbon hogshead (cask 161077), this whisky offers a delicate and fragrant character at 45.3% ABV. Expect a nuanced and complex flavour profile reflective of its long maturation and unique grain origins.
