Deanston whisky originates from a historic distillery nestled on the banks of the River Teith in the central Highlands, once a bustling cotton mill dating back to the late 1700s. Distilled using traditional methods – including open-topped mash tuns, long fermentation, and slow distillation – Deanston develops a uniquely waxy character in its new make spirit. This particular edition showcases maturation in a compelling combination of Manzanilla, French PX, and Rum casks, resulting in a complex and layered profile.
