Established originally as a brewery in 1794, the Oban Distillery uniquely blends coastal and urban influences, resulting in a character as distinctive as its location. A long fermentation process, deliberately favoured despite production limitations, preserves a celebrated maritime quality – a subtle saltiness interwoven with notes of orchard fruit and gentle spice. Bottled at 48% ABV, this expression represents a limited release of just 6000 bottles, offering a taste of Oban’s enduring legacy.
