About this whisky
- Region:
Port Charlotte PC6 is a powerfully elegant single malt from Bruichladdich, born from a spirit heavily peated to 40ppm and distilled in tall, graceful stills. This 6-year-old whisky pays homage to the lost Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte – which ceased production in 1929, representing a revival of Islay tradition. Distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2007, PC6, or “cuairt beatha” – the walk of life in Gaelic – offers a robust character reflecting the dedication of the distillery team. Expect a bold and smoky experience, a testament to its Islay origins and high alcohol content of 61.6% ABV.
