Port Charlotte PC7 is a powerfully elegant, heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, crafted to honour the historic Lochindaal distillery – originally known as Port Charlotte – which ceased production in 1929. Distilled to 40ppm, this Islay whisky embodies the spirit of its island home, a sentiment captured in the Gaelic phrase ‘Sin An Doigh Ileach’ – “It’s the Islay way, and may it never change.” The seventh release in the Port Charlotte range, this 7-year-old expression, bottled in 2008 at 61% ABV, delivers a robust and smoky character with a surprising finesse.
