Springbank 2002 17 Year Old Madeira Wood

From the heart of Campbeltown, once Scotland’s whisky capital, comes this 17-year-old Springbank, distilled in November 2002 and matured in select Madeira wine casks. This expression showcases the distillery’s unique character – a medium-peat influence balanced by the rich fruit notes imparted by the Madeira wood. The result is a complex and robust whisky, offering a depth of flavour rarely found, reflecting Springbank’s commitment to complete on-site production. Bottled in October 2020 at 47.8% ABV, this is a taste of a heritage meticulously preserved within one of only 9200 bottles released.
