Crafted at the historic Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside, this 12 Year Old DoubleWood embodies a uniquely honeyed and subtly smoky character born from a lightly peated spirit. Matured initially in traditional American oak bourbon casks, it’s then ‘finished’ in sherry casks, a pioneering process introduced by Balvenie in 1993 that imparts rich notes of dried fruit and spice. The result is a beautifully balanced single malt, offering a smooth and warming experience with a golden hue.
